After a decade of experience in life coaching, and mentoring so many people, it is clear to me that there is a critical need for the use of a life coach for college students because that is the foundation time to face the real time challenges of life. In school, the student environment is embedded with structure from parents, guidance counselors, and teachers. College, especially at the onset, lacks the same high level of structure and support and can leave students overwhelmed, unfocused, and robbed of their full academic potential.
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
There are new relationships to create, friendships and partners, and sometimes these don’t work out. There may be peer pressures to go partying, drinking, and staying out late when you know you’ve work to do and an assignment next morning. With the often-conflicting pressures from family and friends, the demands of academic life can feel overwhelming and it’s important to have the confidence and skills to manage them.
